Stewardship is all about responding to God’s astounding generosity with our own.
Everything we have comes from God, and every bit we give back to God’s work in the world, plants a seed of hope, healing, and transformation.
the Stewardship Committee
Stewardship is the committee that inspires our community to give generously and faithfully to God’s work through First Church. Our primary job is to run the pledge drive every fall. By making a yearly financial pledge to the church, we are better able to plan for the fiscal year ahead.
Our 2025 Stewardship theme is: “Dream God’s Dream: no gift too small, no dream too big”
Lend Your Hands!
Part of being on Stewardship is getting together and dreaming together! We try to make things fun as well as meaningful, creative as well as crunching the numbers. We invite people to pitch in with stuffing envelopes and sending out our letters and pledge cards. This year we hosted an ice-cream social on launch-day.
In Stewardship, the more the merrier! It’s a good way to support the church, by inviting everyone to help in getting our bills paid and knowing we raised enough to keep us thriving for the upcoming year. It’s a good feeling!
